Creativity has been an important part of our family life for many years. Several members of our family experience and interact with the world in different ways, which has given us a personal understanding of sensory differences, individual needs, and the importance of finding positive outlets that support confidence, focus, self-expression, and wellbeing.
For me, creativity became one of those positive outlets.
What started as a simple interest in making things gradually grew into a genuine passion. I discovered that designing, creating, sculpting, and handcrafting unique pieces gave me a sense of focus and purpose while allowing me to express ideas and imagination in a meaningful way. Over time, creating became more than a hobby—it became something I genuinely looked forward to and an important part of everyday life.
As my skills developed, so did my ambition. What began as a personal creative journey gradually grew into a small family project. While I personally design and handcraft each creation, my family plays an important role behind the scenes, offering encouragement, support, ideas, and inspiration along the way.
At Salih's Design Palace, you will find a collection of individually handcrafted decorative pieces, ornaments, and unique resin figures that I personally design, sculpt, and finish by hand. I work with epoxy resin and crete resin, carefully shaping, detailing, and hand-painting every creation. Because each piece is handmade from start to finish, no two items are ever exactly alike. Every creation is truly unique.
Alongside my handmade creations, I am also developing collections of Sensory Bags and Craft Sets.
The idea behind the Sensory Bags grew naturally from our own experiences. Over the years, we have come to appreciate how valuable the right sensory tools, comfort items, and practical supports can be in everyday life. These carefully selected items are chosen with comfort, focus, regulation, confidence, and wellbeing in mind.
Our Craft Sets were created from the same belief that creativity can be both enjoyable and empowering. They are designed to encourage imagination, learning, exploration, and hands-on fun for children, families, and anyone who enjoys making something unique. We believe creativity should be accessible, rewarding, and something that can be shared with others.
For us, creativity is about far more than making beautiful objects. It can provide focus, confidence, enjoyment, achievement, and a sense of purpose. It can bring people together, encourage self-expression, and create opportunities to learn new skills and explore new ideas.
Everything we create is guided by the same values: patience, care, creativity, quality, and attention to detail. Whether it is a handmade resin creation, a thoughtfully assembled sensory bag, or a creative craft set, every item is prepared with genuine care and pride.
